Black Bear Festival Celebrate living in the gateway to the Appalachian Mountains at the annual Black Bear Festival. Fall leaves are changing colors, breezes are cooler and so is the live music, food, arts/crafts and all things Murray County culture at the Old Recreation Center. The 17th Annual Black Bear Festival is presented by the Murray County Chamber of Commerce.

Fireworks & Festivities at the Murray County Recreation Department
The Murray County Recreation Dept. will be hosting their fireworks on June 29, 2019 at 745 Chestnut Street. (recreation dept. across from MCHS) There will be plenty of foods (homemade ice cream, funnel cakes, lemonade, blooming onion, and more) games for the kids, a water slide & live band. The festivities will kick off around 3:00pm, and fireworks will start around 9:45 pm. Please call the Murray County Rec. @ 706-695-7359 with your questions.
